Lauren Easley, Learning Advisor at GPA Learn
Lauren Easley, M.Ed.
As a certified teacher, Lauren taught 2nd grade at Dekalb County School System for 3 years. Her interest and talents allowed her to serve as school technology coordinator and Webmaster.  She also has a Master’s degree in Educational Technology from Central Michigan University.

Sherida Johnson, Ed.S
Sherida is a 14 year veteran teacher with experience in all grade levels from Pre-K through 12th as well as preschool. She is originally from Conway, South Carolina where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Coastal Carolina University in 2000. She continued her education by receiving a Master’s of Elementary Education from University of Phoenix in 2007 and an Educational Specialist’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction Management from Nova Southeastern University in 2010. She continues to serve children by teaching part-time in multiple school districts in Metropolitan Atlanta.
Diana Lam, Learning Advisor at GPA Learn
Diana Lam, M.Ed.
Diana is a certified teacher with 9 years of teaching experience in Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st Grade, and ESOL.  She holds a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education and a Master of Education from Georgia State University with an ESOL endorsement.
Catrice Spain, Learning Advisor
Catrice K. Spain, M.A.T.
Catrice is a 12 year veteran of the public, charter, and online school systems of Georgia. Catrice received a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of South Carolina and a Master of Arts in Teaching Degree from Walden University. She taught in elementary, middle, and high school and also helped to create the Georgia Performance Standards Frameworks for English Language Arts.

Meet ABACUS, the 3rd grade tutor! His mom uses his full name: “Arithmetic Bot And Calculation Understanding System”. He will be your learning coach at Robot Academy.

Introducing Pemdas! He will be your 4th grade learning coach.  Help him work on his math skills while the great owl is away.

Mark is the company’s visionary and founder.  The idea was born from helping his daughter with Math.  He holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Management from Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA from Tulane University Freeman School of Business.

At home his schedule is managed by his wife and daughter.

Chief Executive Officer & President

Kevin is responsible for leading GPA Learn, fostering the company culture to be one of excellence in product development and sales.   He enjoys being involved in all aspects of the organization, and understands that creating an empowered and committed team is at the core of a company’s success.  Kevin has deep experience in creating and executing a strategic framework to set the stage for accelerated and long-term growth.

A serial entrepreneur, technology visionary, and author, Kevin has been active in the Education Technology space for almost two decades, enjoying a successful history leading companies.  Kevin has served on boards of Technology and Education Technology companies since 2000.  Working in advisory board capacity with companies such as Microsoft, and CompTIA, Kevin has established a reputation as a leader in the education industry.

In addition to his founding, building, and successfully exiting four companies, Kevin has served in executive capacities for ExecuTrain, Certiport, and Pearson, LLC.  Driven to build world-class learning products and organizations, Kevin has a long history of creating value for shareholders and the customers he serves.

Kevin’s most significant achievement has been as a loving husband and father to two sons.

Ed is responsible for the marketing, sales, operations and product management areas of the company. He brings over twenty five years of start-up, consulting, and software industry experience in operations, sales, product and project management. Prior to GPA Learn, Ed was the Vice President of Operations & Customer Service for Digital Assent, where he built the account management and support teams along with helping set a strategic plan. He was also the Vice President of Operations for Vendormate Inc., where he built and directed the operations team of account managers, credentialing and customer support teams. Ed helped to grow and lead the company from startup to a successful exit.

Ed also has experience in program management and supply chain strategy with various companies including Borland Software, Deloitte Consulting, and Lexmark. At Borland he worked on various products, including Business Objects, and later served as a program manager for CaliberRM. His four plus years with Deloitte Consulting included supply chain strategy and process improvement projects for several Fortune 500 companies such as Marmaxx, Nike, Kmart, CVS, and Hunter Fan.

Ed holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Along with his GPA Learn responsibilities, Ed’s other responsibilities are as a husband and father (one son).

Steven is responsible for developing strategic partnerships and relationships to foster community growth with corporate child sponsors, charitable foundations, parent associations and education organizations.

Prior to joining GPA Learn, Steven served as the CEO of a charter high school that focused on career academies and a STEM curriculum. He served on a subcommittee to advance STEM education for the state of GA and he currently serves on the education committees and board of trustees for two independent schools in Atlanta. Steven has over 22 years of experience in operations, finance and business strategy where he ran a multi-national information technology training and consulting company and oversaw the operations and financial controls of two restaurants as a franchisee and two mega-fitness centers in Atlanta and in District Heights, MD.

Before pursuing his entrepreneurial passions, Steven structured and executed investment-banking transactions for Bank of America, formerly NationsBank, in the corporate finance and private placements groups.

Steven holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Duke University and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Along with his GPA Learn responsibilities, Steven’s other duties are as a husband and father (daughter and son).

Charlie is developing, hiring and leading the team that is architecting and building the GPA Learn applications.  He is a graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Computer Science.

When not at work Charlie relaxes with his wife Sara and Son.
